Jump For Joy Canine Activities Class is a 6 week class running each Saturday beginning April 1st and ending May 6th 8:45am-9:45am at Tug Dogs (Elverta).
This unique class allows dogs and handlers to explore different ypes of canine sports/activities, practice obeience control in more challenging yet fun environments, build confidence and teamwork, and learn what fun things your dog enjoys! (This is not a compeition class for those wanting to compete at high levels in canine sports).
~April 1st: CGC obedience training and mock testing~
Practice your dog's obedience commands upping the difficulty with more distractions and prepare for CGC testing.
~April 8th: For fun agility~
Let your dog experience the fun of zooming through the agility tunnel, mastering hurdles, checking out the wobble board, and learning to wait on the pause table during all this fun!
~April 15th: Scent tracking~
Scent tracking is a fun and interesting game that utilizes a dog's natural desire to smell. See how quickly your dog picks up on catching the scent and learn how ot lay a track so that you can play this game with your dog outside of class.
~April 22nd: Therapy dog training~
Practicing obedience and manners around medical equipment and with unique and challenging distractions is good for any dog including those who won't be continuing on to therapy dog work. From awkward petting, to strange body movements, dogs who are used to these things can maintain their cooland listen to obedience commands with ease.
~April 29th: Trick training~
Trick training is just tons of fun and uses your dog's obedience skills in new ways. From roll over to bow, touch to weave...both you and your dog will learn the fine art of luring, verbal marking and enjoy a great bonding experience.
~May 6th: Field Trip day~
Get ready to put your dog's skills to good use as we veture out into a public space to practice with real world distractions!

Class instructor is trainer Rachelle and fee is $225 for all 6 weeks.
Rainy days will be reschedule to the next available Saturday.
Dogs attending must be up to date on vaccinations, healthy, and not have human or dog aggression issues (excitement is just fine).
