“Let’s go hand in hand, not one before another.”
― Dromio of Ephesus, The Comedy of Errors
The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth (Shakespeare was father to one pair of twins). Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio of Ephesus. When the Syracusans encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful all sorts of shenanigans.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the amphitheatre and in the lot behind Fairy Tale Town. Limited ADA accessible parking is available in front of the amphitheatre — see staff for access to it.
What's the refund policy?
No refunds are allowed but transfers may be accomodated based on availability. To transfer your tickets to another night, please come to the box office. Box office opens 2 hours prior to curtain on show days. Box office is not open on non-performance days.
What can I bring into the event?
You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy under the stars. We also encourage you to bring chairs — low beach chairs if you wish to sit down front or blankets, and taller chairs for use by the benches. Bug spray may be helpful, but please, no candles or open flame of any kind. We will have snacks and drinks available for purchase at intermission. Bring your loose change for our Spare Change program and small bills for concessions. Park policies prevail, therefore no smoking is allowed within the bounds of the park or the fenced off area of the amphitheatre.
