Join us for an in intimate show with Adam Crossman from Toronto Canada, Forest Bailey and Curtis Reilley.
About Adam Crossman:
When you close your eyes and listen to his music, you will have a hard time believing it is just one man on stage with an acoustic guitar, two hands and an endless passion for his art. Adam Crossman is a solo acoustic fingerstyle guitarist emerging from the small town of Bethany, Ontario. He simultaneously creates a variety of tones and textures from a mere six-string acoustic guitar. Adam uses a range of altered tunings, two-handed tapping techniques, harmonics, capos, and percussive hits to emulate the sound of a full band in his compositions. He evokes emotion and translate ideas through music using his keen sense of melody and rhythm.
About Forest Bailey:
Forest Bailey uses an unorthodox technique that involves using the body of a steel string acoustic to create melody, bass, and percussion all at once. This “percussive fingerstyle” technique draws out the full range of an acoustic guitar’s sonic possibilities. In addition to being a full time guitar instructor, Forest has entertained up and down the West Coast from Los Angeles to Portland in venues such as State Theater in Auburn, Portland Saturday Market, Winter NAMM, 89.5 KVMR Nevada City Radio, weddings as well as countless wineries, breweries and restaurants. You can find Forest on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
