Garden to Pantry: Gifts from the Kitchen
Tuesday, November 14, 6-8 pm
Join Master Food Preservers for a hands-on and demonstration style class to learn how to make holiday gifts from the kitchen. Students will go home with a jar of homemade organic sauerkraut and four containers of gourmet cooking salts. There will be a demonstration of water bath canning for preserving pumpkin and preparing black cherry forest jam. You’ll see how to make holiday favorites, such as apple pie and snowman coco in a mason jar and will go home with inspiration to create handcrafted gifts in your kitchen for family and friends.
