The Greater Sacramento Urban League Oak Park office is pleased to announce our mini-grant opportunity for the beginning 2018. We are looking for people, organizations, and groups who serve the Oak Park neighborhood. With the awarded funds, the Greater Sacramento Urban League hope to support and encourage continued service to the community. Specifically, the Greater Sacramento Urban League would like increase intention and focus on the children, youth and families experiencing the most disproportionate rates of African-American child mortality in comparison to all other racial groups.

Please apply for our mini-grant if your organization can provide a community benefit that can directly decrease African-American child mortality due to the 4 main causes:
Perinatal Conditions
Infant Safe-Sleep
Child Abuse and Neglect
3rd Party Homicide
The application is attached. The deadline is Friday, December 1st at 5:00pm. Activities will begin on or before January 15, 2018, and complete by May 31, 2018. Please let me know if you have and questions or inquiries.
