The Super Training Classic is Push-Pull Meet in which each competitor has 3 attempts at each lift and gets to bench WITH a Sling Shot.

Each Registrant will receive a Super Training Classic shirt, a pair of wrist wraps, and a pair of deadlift socks from Sling Shot.

Weight Classes:
Men’s Classes (In Lbs)
Featherweight: Up to 170.9
Lightweight: 171.0-200.9lbs
Middleweight: 201.0-231.9lbs
Heavyweight: 232.0lbs +

Women’s Classes (In Lbs)
Featherweight: Up to 115.9lbs
Lightweight: 116.0-136.9lbs
Middleweight: 137.0-157.9lbs
Heavyweight: 158.0lbs +


Sling Shot Bench Press

Required Gear: Super Training Classic Shirt (provided upon registration) & Wrist Wraps, and a Sling Shot.

*Men will wear an Original Sling Shot.

*Women will wear a Reactive Sling Shot.

Optional Gear: Lifter may also wear elbow sleeves or belt.

Special Note:
Each lifter must follow protocol to the competition platform. There will be an “on deck” and “in the hole” area in which a Sling Shot will be provided and placed upon the athlete under supervision of the staff. A lifter may not use their own Sling Shot. It is required that each competitor use the Sling Shot provided by the staff.�


Each lifter is given 3 attempts.
Shoulders and butt must stay in contact with the bench at all times.
Feet must in contact with the floor at all times. Lifter has the option of heels up or flat on floor.
The bar must pause on the chest and the lifter must wait for the Head Judge to give the “PRESS” command before beginning moving the bar upward towards the LOCKED OUT position.
The bar can travel slightly uneven on the way up (not excessively uneven) but both sides must be locked out at the top of the lift.
There may be no downward movement of the bar after the “Press” command.
The lifter must wait for the Head Judge to give the “RACK” command before bringing the bar back into the rack.


Required Gear: Super Training Classic Shirt & Socks provided

Optional Gear: Lifter may wear a belt.


Each lifter is given 3 attempts.
Lifter may must be in an erect position upon lockout. This means their hips and knees have reached full extension and their shoulders have been pulled back upon their lockout.
The lifter will be given a “DOWN” command after the lockout, in which the lifter may lower the bar back to the floor.
The lifter must keep their hands on the bar all the way to the floor after they are given the “DOWN” command.
There may be no downward movement of the bar upon the start of the lift and before the “DOWN” command.
