Tina D’Elia’s Bio:
Tina D’Elia, is a Bay Area Casting Director, Actor, Acting Teacher, Screenwriter, Solo Performer, and Performance Coach. She recently was a guest presenter for two industry panels at the Actor’s Conference (San Mateo, 2017) Presented at an Authentic Actor workshop for the Sacramento Film & Music Festival (September 2017).
Tina is honored to be on the CURVE Power list of 2017. Tina is the recipient of casting diversity award, the Charlie Holiday Actress award (Equality International Film Festival, 2017) and the Executive Producer Award and Trail Blazer Award (Equality International Film Festival, 2015). Tina and director Maria Breaux won the Audience Award for co-screening the short film: Lucha, (Frameline 2009). Tina has cast feature films, short films, web series, music videos, voice overs, and industrials in the Bay Area since 2009. Tina is a Casting Associate for Nina Henninger Casting, CSA, casting numerous Films/TV Shows/and commercial projects. Currently Tina is developing her fourth solo show “Overlooked Latinas” and will have a staged reading at Brava Theater (San Francisco, CA), Tuesday May 8th, 2018. The 3-week premiere is set for January 2019. She stars in the feature film “Don’t Shoot I’m the Guitar Man” screening February 15th at the Roxie Theater in SF Indie Fest.
