Did you know that some of our showiest Arboretum gardens get watered only once every two weeks, even in mid-summer? Come see low-water plants in their spring beauty and discover how they can become part of your own water-thrifty landscape!
The first 90 minutes will be an easy walking tour with our Director of Horticulture, Ellen Zagory, as she showcases low-water demonstration gardens at the west end of the Arboretum.
Following the walk with Ellen, you'll have time to browse and choose your very own low-water selections to dress your garden from our extensive collection of UC Davis-grown plants.
