The Galt Chamber of Commerce is excited to present its 1st Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival to be held at the McFarland Living History Ranch on August 11-12, 2018!
The Balloon Festival will feature arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, commercial booths, public information booths, tethered rides, and of course, Hot Air Balloons!
Advance Tickets are $5 general admission, under 5 years old are free.
At the Gate Tickets are $10, under 5 years old are free.
Limited number of VIP Parking Passes for McFarland Ranch $10. You must have a parking pass to park at the venue. NO PARKING PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE THE DAY OF THE FESTIVAL. If you do not purchase a VIP Parking Pass, you will have to park in the off-site lots and use the shuttle service.
Gates open at 5:30 AM. Balloons are scheduled to lift-off at sunrise. Balloons will fly weather permitting. This is at the discretion of the Hot Air Balloon Pilots.
There will be 2 tethered balloons offering rides. Tickets will be $10 each, cash* only, and available for purchase at the Balloon Festival only. There are no pre-sale tickets available for the tethered Hot Air Balloon rides.
*ATM will be available on-site. Individual vendors may accept credit cards.
BALLOONS WILL FLY AT SUNRISE, WEATHER PERMITTING. THIS IS UP TO THE BALLOON PILOTS' DISCRETION.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is a family friendly event. All ages are welcome
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are a very limited number of $10 VIP Parking Passes available for parking at the venue. There will be satellite parking areas and shuttle buses.
What can I bring into the event?
No outside food or drink will be allowed. No ice chests. There will be food and drink at the Festival.

What's the refund policy?
There are no refunds. Balloons fly at sunrise, weather permitting. This is up to the pilot's discretion.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No E-Tickets will be accepted. YOU MUST BRING YOUR HARD COPY TICKET WHICH WAS MAILED TO YOU. If you «forgot» your tickets, you will have to purchase more at the gate.
If you purchased your tickets after August 1st, your tickets will be available at Will Call at the Festival Gate. You must have your receipt or ID to pick up Will Call tickets.
Can I update my registration information?
No. Once the tickets are been mailed out, the mailing address cannot be changed.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
There are no names on the tickets mailed out.
Please bring your reciept or ID for Will Call tickets.
